Why Michigan Adventure is One of the Best Michigan Amusement Parks

There's no doubt that all of the Michigan amusement parks in the state are a great deal of fun. However, one stands head and shoulders above the rest. When it comes to great family fun, you can't beat Michigan Adventure. This park has lots of rides, great attractions, delicious food, lots of places to shop and more. Whether you like your adventures wild or prefer things a bit more tame, this park has something for you. First, we'll explore thrill rides, which lure adrenaline seekers and coaster enthusiasts from all over the map.

One of the leading coasters at Michigan Adventure, if not the world, is Shivering Timbers. This amazing wooden coaster offers incredible drops, turns and plenty of heart pounding thrills. The ride reaches speeds up to 65mph, and there are drops of 125, 105 and 95 feet respectively. If you love going upside down, then you must ride the Corkscrew. This classic corkscrew shaped coaster is fun and exciting for anyone who enjoys an amazing thrill ride experience. Of course, coasters aren't the only type of rides at this park. For example, Flying Trapeze is an extreme swing ride and Ripcord offers a realistic flying experience.

There are a variety of water rides and attractions at this park also. The Jolly Roger Pirate Ship is a fun water attraction with several slides and a tunnel. Commotion Ocean is a gentle wave pool, much milder than Boogie Beach which features bigger waves and a water depth of 7 feet. Cyclone Zone has thrilling tube slides, while Mammoth River is a raft slide that can accommodate up to three riders. If you want something truly thrilling, check out Wild Slide. This intense one-person slide is high, fast and amazingly exciting.

At the park you will also find a great many dining establishments, souvenir shops and fun events. Special events are held throughout the year. Examples of some special events include Physics Day, Armed Forces Day, Scouting Outing and TimbersFest. As you can see, Michigan Adventure is certainly one of the best Michigan amusement parks, if not the very best. When you visit this spacious amusement park, you're sure to find plenty to see and do. Whether you like gentle family rides or jaw dropping roller coasters, you will find your ride of choice here.
