Florida Amusement Parks Offer Sun and Fun

There is no doubt that Florida is perhaps the premier location for amusement parks. There are some incredible parks in this sunny state, including the grandaddy of them all -- Disneyworld. In addition to Disney, you will find the Epcot Center, Sea World Orlando, Busch Gardens, and Cypress Gardens Adventure Park -- to name only a fraction. As you can imagine, the most popular park is of course Walt Disney World. There is certainly a great deal to enjoy at the park.

At the Walt Disney World resort in Orlando, you can enjoy 30,000 acres and four different theme areas. The four areas are Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney MGM Studios and the Animal Kingdom Park. The Magic Kingdom is what most people think of when they imagine a Disney theme park visit. Here you'll discover all the famous Disney characters, lots of rides, live shows, and of course the beautiful castle that is a well known feature of the park. At Epcot, the attractions have more of a technology and futuristic theme. The MGM Studios park is of course cinema and movie related, while the Animal Park is devoted to animals. All the attractions waiting on you at Walt Disney World could fill a book.

Sea World Orlando is not so much an amusement park as it is an aquarium and learning center. You can get up close and personal with amazing sea creatures and watch breathtaking performances. If you have your heart set on thrilling rides, check out Busch Gardens Africa. Not only does this park feature many African animals, they offer plenty of fun rides as well. One of the most thrilling are the two Gwazi coasters, wooden coasters that are the fastest and largest in the Southeast United States.

Cypress Gardens has a lot to offer as well. There are great coasters, plenty of water rides, live animals, and of course the incredible gardens that give the park its name. No matter which one of the Florida amusement parks that you visit, you are sure to have a wonderful time. Whether you live in Florida or are going there on vacation, you should know that this state is filled with an endless variety of fun and exciting things to see and do.
