Belmont Park is an oceanside park located in San Diego. This park features an incredible retro style coaster called the Giant Dipper. This coaster was originally constructed in 1925 and has been restored to its original glory. While the Giant Dipper is one of the oldest rides, the Beach Blaster is one of the newest. This ride swings its passengers high into the air and to the side. There are also a great many water rides and attractions for kids and adults of all ages.

Miniland, for example, is an area that features tiny replicas of national landmarks made from Lego blocks. One of the most thrilling rides for kids at Legoland is the Kid Power Tower. This ride lifts kids into the air thirty feet and free falls to the ground. The riders actually use a chain to pull their vehicle up, which is an interactive and fun twist.
One of the biggest theme parks in California has got to be Six Flags Magic Mountain which is located near Los Angeles. If you are a coaster enthusiast then you simply must visit this park. Magic Mountain is home to an incredible collection of thrilling coasters of all kinds. If you love to fly, take a ride on Tatsu. This coaster is the longest, tallest and fastest flying coaster on the planet. Other notable coasters include Goliath, Goldrusher and Dive Devil. Like all Six Flags parks, Magic Mountain has kids and family rides as well.
