Many people will list their parks for sale online. There are even sites devoted especially to the sale of various amusement and theme parks. You are probably wondering how much an amusement park is going to cost you. Well, it all depends on how big and extensive the park is. For example, you will find some parks costing millions of dollars and some parks costing only a half of a million dollars. The key is to evaluate the property and the park. What are you getting for the money? What is the profit potential of the park? The last thing you want is to be saddled with a money trap that costs more than it earns.
You may want to call in an expert to help you evaluate the property if you are unsure. Not only that, but many people interested in buying an amusement park don't do so alone. You may need to line up some investors to go in on the purchase with you. The best thing you can do is research. Research as much about the business of running amusement parks as you can find. If you can, talk to other park owners in other areas that are not considered competition to you. Your competitor isn't going to give away secrets but a kindly park owner in another part of the country may be willing to talk with you.
Once you have found listings for amusement parks for sale, it is time to do the fun part. The fun part, of course, is visiting the park to see what it has to offer. You will find that some parks up for sale are operational and earning revenue, while other parks are not operational and may need to be restored. Buying an amusement park can be a decision that will change your whole life, often for the better!
